What’s Going On Around Town – Save The Date For These September Events

SEPTEMBER 9th – The UPS 5K Run 2017

The UPS 5K Benefiting the United Way of Miami-Dade takes participants through the beautiful city of Coral Gables and will run on our new scenic course. The race still starts and ends at the City of Coral Gables Historic City Hall at a festive post-race party at Merrick Park. The park is across the street from City Hall at the intersection of Le Jeune Road and Miracle Mile.

SEPTEMBER 15th – Park(ing) Day

Coral Gables is encouraging all local businesses to participate in PARK(ING) Day 2017 which is taking place on Friday September 15. PARK(ING) Day is an opportunity for people to temporarily turn on-street parking spaces into public places. This international event raises awareness about the importance of a walkable, livable, healthy city and helps people re-think how our streets can be used.

SEPTEMBER 15th – Unveiling The New Pedestrian Promenade On Giralda Plaza

SEPTEMBER 30th – Raul DiBlasio In Concert

Come experience world renowned pianist, Raul Di Blasio, LIVE at the Historic Comber Hall located at the beautiful Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables, FL. This unique and exclusive concert experience is part of the new collaboration between the Little Flower Concert Series & the world famous piano builder, Steinway & Sons. All funds raised for this concert will bring the historic Church of the Little Flower closer to acquiring a new Model B Steinway & Sons piano.
