MARCH 1st to 3rd – Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show

At the Home Design & Remodeling Show, you get to experience Florida’s home remodeling industry at its very best. When you enter, you will be greeted with a diverse range of products and solutions tailored specifically to the Florida housing market. You will also encounter some of South Florida’s most prominent home designers and home remodeling companies.

Because our Florida home remodeling shows feature superior vendors, thousands of excited homeowners attend our events every year. Our sold out home shows consistently surpass the expectations of both our attendees and exhibitors.

MARCH 2nd & 3rd – Carnaval On The Mile

Carnaval On The Mile is a street festival that takes up the entire length of Downtown Coral Gables’ busiest street, Miracle Mile, for a full weekend. There are stages set up and Latin Jazz, Funk, Caribbean rhythms and more bounce through the air. Local performers and internationally famous musicians take the stage to dancing crowds filled with everyone from families to veterans of the party scene.

The event is free, and there is plenty of extra fun to indulge in, including dozens of food stands and artisanal vendors. The event takes place every year on the weekend before the main event, the Calle Ocho Festival.

MARCH 4th to 10th – Miami Sailing Week

A world-class regatta in its tenth season, Miami Sailing Week draws sailing aficionados to the waterfront in picturesque Coconut Grove. Taking place at Regatta Park, the festivities will include the opportunity for sailors with a variety of experience to compete in races on the clear blue waters of Biscayne Bay. This year, Miami Sailing Week is happening March 6 to 10, 2019.

Every year more than 200 sailors from at least 20 countries compete in the event, some from as far away as Australia. The event kicks off with sailing related programs and activities on Monday, March 4 at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club and Regatta Park. Tuesday, March 6 is a free day. Then the competition starts to heat up on Wednesday, March 6 with registration, boat rigging and a competitors meeting that evening. Enjoy the races for both youth and adults Thursday, March 7 through Sunday, March 10, with social events following the competition each evening. The adults closing ceremony and award presentation is on Saturday, March 9 at 6 p.m. and the youth closing ceremony and award presentation is on Sunday, March 10 at 5 p.m. It’s sure to be a week full of sun, wind and waves.
