The City of Coral Gables is happy to announce the second season of Wellness Wednesdays in the Gables, a weekly fitness series offering FREE Yoga and Zumba classes! Join us and Green Monkey every Wednesday, from October through April, 6 to 7 p.m., at The Plaza at 150 Miracle Mile, courtesy of the McBride Family.
APRIL 5th – Movies On The Mile

Every first Thursday of the month Movies On The Mile courtesy of the McBride Family is at The Plaza at 150 Miracle Mile. Grounds open at 6 p.m. movie starts at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
APRIL 7th – Caribbean Community Day At The Lowe

Community members of all ages are invited to explore the culture of the Caribbean with art activities, music, food, and a scavenger hunt through the exhibition Antillean Visions: Maps and the Making of the Caribbean. Enjoy the sounds of Haiti and Cuba with local musicians, create a Caribbean-inspired ocean watercolor with an egg-shell mosaic border, make your own maracas, and go on an adventure as you explore the details of more than 200 rare and beautiful maps of the Caribbean in a fun-filled afternoon at the Lowe Art Museum.

APRIL 14th – Heart Of Gold For Autism Annual Fashion Show

The Heart of Gold Annual Fashion Show event was created by Maximizing Autistic Children’s Success, a 501 (C) 3 organization dba Heart of Gold for Autism. This event is part of our continued efforts to raise awareness of the significance of therapy for the development of children with Autism Spectrum Developmental Disabilities and, also, to raise funds to help pay for much needed therapies.
This year’s Heart of Gold Annual Fashion Show on April 14, 2018, at the Coral Gables Women’s Club is a major fundraising event for this cause in partnership with Crystal Academy of Coral Gables, a premium therapy center and school specializing in children and adolescents with autism, behavior difficulties, speech and language and other developmental delays.
