More than 400 guests visited the Coral Gables site of Merrick Manor to celebrate the early topping off of construction of the 10-story, 227-residence luxury project on Friday, October 27. Merrick Manor is the city’s first major residential project in many years, and the enthusiastic crowd at the topping off event reflected the excitement in the area for its fourth quarter of 2018 completion.
Attendees included U.S. Congressman Carlos Curbelo, Coral Gables Mayor Raul Valdes-Fauli and Coral Gables commissioners Vince Lago, Michael Mena and Frank Quesada. The politicians, Astor Companies Founder, President and CEO Henry Torres and JAXI Builders President Abel Ramirez took the opportunity to thank the many workers whose hard work allowed the project to top off several months ahead of schedule. JAXI is the project’s general contractor.
ONE Sotheby’s International Realty President Daniel de la Vega was also on hand to enjoy the festivities and tour the project. ONE Sotheby’s is exclusively handling residential sales at Merrick Manor.
Located at 301 Altara Avenue, Merrick Manor is the premier new development in Coral Gables. The project is located just steps away from the luxurious Shops at Merrick Park.
