Coral Gables Hailed as Desirable Place to Live in Miami Herald Real Estate Report

Many of the top real estate professionals in Miami-Dade County consider Coral Gables to be the top city for families to live in and among the most desirable residential destinations overall, according to the 2017 Miami Herald/Bendixen & Amandi real estate market study.

Each year, the Herald and Miami-based polling firm Bendixen & Amandi team up to interview 100 of the county’s premier developers, brokers, analysts, investors and other experts to get a sense of the state of the local real estate market. Henry Torres, President of The Astor Companies – which is developing luxury residential project Merrick Manor in the heart of Coral Gables, participated in the study. On Wednesday, July 20, the Herald hosted an event to reveal the results of the 2017 edition.

Out of all the neighborhoods in Miami-Dade, Coral Gables was selected as the No. 1 place for families with kids to live in. Additionally, the city ranked No. 2 for empty-nesters to reside in and No. 3 on the list of most desirable residential neighborhoods overall.

Merrick Manor is the premier new development in Coral Gables and currently under construction. For pricing information and to learn more about residential and commercial opportunities available at Merrick Manor, visit the project Sales Gallery at 4200 Laguna Street, which is located directly across the street from the 301 Altara Avenue site.
