Real Estate Pros Fill Merrick Manor’s Sales Gallery for 2018 Miami Herald/Bendixen & Amandi “Taking the Pulse of Residential Real Estate” Event

Nearly 150 real estate professionals packed the Merrick Manor Sales Gallery in Coral Gables for one of the industry’s biggest annual gatherings: the Miami Herald/Bendixen & Amandi “Taking the Pulse of Residential Real Estate” event on Sept. 12.

The 4200 Laguna Street Sales Gallery hosted the event, allowing the real estate heavy hitters in attendance a chance to see the construction progress of Merrick Manor across the street. The Astor Companies is scheduled to complete the 227-residence luxury project by the end of 2018.

Each year, the Miami Herald and Bendixen & Amandi team up to survey top real estate professionals and release an annual report on the findings. To kick off this year’s event, Astor President Henry Torres and Merrick Manor Director of Sales Eduardo Pruna gave opening remarks to the enthusiastic crowd. Torres discussed his vision for Merrick Manor and what makes Coral Gables such a desirable destination, while Pruna described the project and some of the special offerings that are currently available.

Miami Herald Business Editor Jane Wooldridge, a Coral Gables resident, also noted how Coral Gables stands alone as a premier place to live in the Greater Miami area.

Other highlights of the event included a keynote conversation between Herald reporter Rene Rodriguez and father-son development company the Melo Group and a panel of industry experts breaking down the annual report.

Located at 301 Altara Avenue, the 10-story, 227-residence Merrick Manor is located just steps away from the luxurious Shops at Merrick Park. For more information, contact the ONE Sotheby’s International Realty sales team.
